Pupil Achievement

YouPlayMusic Club

We were very lucky to have a special performance by our very own YouPlayMusic club in our first Monday assembly in December. Children who had attended the club after school club for the past 10 weeks sang and accompanied three songs by Coldplay, 5 Seconds of Summer and The Vamps. They were absolutely excellent, and very brave to ‘gig’ in front of the whole school.

Some of the fantastic activities our children have taken part in over the last year.

Clifford House Reward Trip
Clifford House were rewarded with a trip to Matrix Bowling Alley at the end of the summer term for receiving the most house points for good behaviour. Behaviour on the trip was excellent and everyone had a great time; with the older children helping the younger ones showing great 'school community spirit'. We had six lanes and six worthy winners: Jack Burras, Luc Ellson, Max Reynoldson, Harry Ellison, Rufus Macadam and Millie Cudlip. Many thanks to Matrix Bowling Alley who supplied us with juice on a very hot summers day and Miss Newell, Mr Spencer and Miss Leach who helped out on the trip on a very hot walk to and from school - we couldn't have run the trip without your help. This is what some of our children had to say about the trip:
'Bowling was really good fun and I beat my brother! At bowling everyone got lots of points. Thank you everyone for taking me.' Max Reynoldson, Amber Class.
'It was really good fun, I liked everything about it.' Kieran Spencer, Jade Class.
'I really liked the fact that it was only Clifford House who took part.' Emily Peach, Jade Class.
'We all had a fantastic time bowling at the Matrix. We all behaved well and walked sensibly down to the bowling centre.' Megan Slater, Amethyst Class.
'It was a great reward and I enjoyed it.' Katie Tutty, Sapphire Class.
