Skipton Parish Church of England Primary School

Believing and Achieving Together

Overview

We are a large rural school, set in the historic market town of Skipton, “Gateway to the Dales,” and easily accessible to Harrogate, Leeds, Bradford and Lancashire.

The school is a proud member of the Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust (YCST), a multi academy trust that works in partnership to support the school and its children.

The school shares the Trust's mission;

“Where everyone is valued and respected, where we share a commitment to education that is ambitious, setting the highest expectations and where integrity is the foundation.”

You can find out more about YCST by clicking the link to the Trust's website here.

As a diverse school, we embrace and celebrate the uniqueness of each and everyone.

We are the parish school of Skipton and so we have a very strong partnership  with the parish church, Holy Trinity. The church works closely with the school, both through active participation collective worship and major events as well as playing an active part in our governing body.

The school has improved significantly over the last few years and we are now able to accept 60 children in each year group. We currently have spaces throughout the school.

 Parish Church of England School also links closely with the wider community in Skipton, which helps to provide our children with values to make them responsible citizens. We have a very active Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) who organise a variety of fun activities throughout the year and also raise funds to provide many extras for the children.

Come and find out for yourself what Parish is like.  We would be delighted to welcome you to our school.
